Characters Role in Virgin Falls (official or self proclaimed):  Still finding it more or less.  She is a writer of fiction stories which sell pretty well, and she is a seamstress.


Characters Back Story:  Amy came from nothing.  Her family was dirt poor and both of her parents were substance abusers.  This left her with little desire to do drugs or drink to excess herself since she did not want to become them.  She left home at the age of sixteen, and she is pretty sure they never noticed since no one seemed to look for her.  She found work, finished high school, and put herself through a couple of semesters of college.  Her life got derailed, as often happens, by a bad relationship.

In getting away from that bad relationship she found herself in Virgin Falls, and she has encountered another man.  Question is, will he be good for her or lead her further down the road to ruin?  Only time will tell.  She continues to work as a free lance writer.

Favorite location in Virgin Falls:  Coffee Shop


Where can your character be found in Virgin Falls:  In her office, under her townhouse or the coffee shop most often.  She sometimes can be found at the small park enjoying the weather, or looking for inspiration.  She can also be found at the police station sometimes, visiting with someone there.


If someone wished to RP how would you suggest they go about it:

Just kind of dive in.  Approach, see what's going on and then emote your way into the RP in a way that makes sense and does not disrespect any RP currently taking place.  I, for one, try to be an inclusive RPer and make people feel welcome in the group scenes.  I think it makes the sim better for all involved.  One cannot wait for people to come to them to RP, they have to take that first step and join in on what is already going on.  Here at Virgin Falls we have a staff that goes out of their way to create events in order for people to get together and meet one another.  Attend them, join in - meet and network so your RP can grow that way.


Any extras about you or your character that you would like people to know:  Amy is a cheeky smartass much of the time.  She can be sarcastic and a bit dark in her humor but she has a heart of gold.  When she cares about someone, she cares deeply.  That is why she often comes off as stand offish, she's been hurt enough by caring too much that she takes her time to let anyone close to her.
