Welcome to Virgin Falls

Welcome to Virgin Falls. A City That Never Sleeps.

Population: Unknown

Crime Rate: ???
(Well let's be serious most of the crimes go unreported, and even when reported the cops are not afraid to take what they want in flesh.)

If you have spent much time in Virgin Falls there are a few things you probably already know. The sun never seems to rise in this dreary city, and every man crossing the street has a devious thought planted in the forefront of his brain... and pants. This is a place of opportunity. Plenty of job openings at the police station, hospital, or even the library. Want a job a little more on the naughty side maybe check out the baker who likes to make magical treats or hit the porn studio where they are always looking for actors. Unsure what to do in your down time. I recommend taking a walk and seeing just how long it takes for you to end up kidnapped and raped. Like I said a world of opportunities are open for you in this sleepy little town. So stop on in and see what kind of trouble you can find.

Welcome to my little blog Virgin Hills Chronicles. Hi my name is Kiera you may be wondering exactly what I plan on chronicling here. So I'm going to tell you all about it. My plan is write about all those things in Virgin Falls that we want to know about. From the art of the lure and how to catch a pred to fashion, events, rps and you. Yes that's right I plan on showcasing all of you. This is an interactive blog. So feel free to approach me IC in Virgin Falls with ideas or in my Im's. Or drop me a letter at the studios mailbox. My door is always open. This week since it is our Kick Off to Virgin Falls Chronicle. I plan on making a new and exciting post every day! After the first 7 days I promise we will leave it to just two posts a week one character spotlight and something else that I promise should be lots of fun.

The Virgin Falls Chronicles studio can be found in the downstairs of this building. Feel free to stop in.
Virgin Falls Chronicles

If you have never played on Virgin Falls or need a refresher please read the rules below.

Rules

Important Note: The Mansion at the top of the Hill is The Gentleman’s Retreat - The retreat has it's own set of rules here ?

Together The Town Of Virgin Falls and The Mansion of The Gentlemen’s Retreat live in a sick and twisted harmony where a predator can be lurking anywhere and almost any object can and will be used against the impending prey.
NOTE: This is a full capture and roleplay sim. Coming to this sim with the purpose of dragging prey to other sims is not allowed. This will result in a ban. Note that though we are not listed as a sin tracker hunting grounds. We have no issue with sin tracker being used ON SIM, Or VGS or other roleplay aids

Optional Attachment for use in Virgin Falls ?
The above attachment will hide all names if you are using RLV

Back story:
The town or Virgin Falls evolved from a single devious and ominous building left lonely and in the deep of the woods. The property was something of a mystery to all those who weren't a part of the horrible and wretched schemes that took place there. After years of running their operations in a secluded wooded area.  Sinners Hub made connections and found a town that would turn a blind eye to their operation. Hunters rule this domain while the captured prey learn their place. Here, the bounties are posted in the police station in the center of town, as the hustle and bustle of city life goes on around it. The City has a corrupt underbelly even though they try to paint it to make it look better, cleaner and safer. The corruption has spread too much to be covered over fully. Blackmail, Kidnapping and Rape are a normal occurrence, sometimes hidden in a secluded dark corner. Sometimes carried out by the very people you sought out to protect you.

Before reading the below rules. Understand this is a roleplay environment. So, if you are not a role-player, this is not the place for you at all. I am sure searching for "free sex" will however be quite fulfilling for you.
Virgin Falls Rules (Followed by Roleplay Guidelines)
NO Bestiality, NO Age Play, NO White Knights (Saving People without being invited to the Role play), NO Intruding on Role plays in Progress

1. Do NOT enter renter’s rentals units without their permission. It's simple respect and will get you banned if you ignore it.

2. Nudity. Of course, Nudity is allowed. However, unless you are actively in a role play that has your clothing off, or in a building that allows for it; then you need to be dressed. We do not want people wandering around aimlessly nude. "Dressed" does not mean lingerie or underwear. It means suitable clothing for a public setting. It can be daring, it can be skimpy, but it must cover you, this does not mean chains dangling across your body so that all parts are visible.... Clothes need to be Street Clothing. Not Lingerie, not a latex body suit, not see through. No female nipple a minor areola slip will be over looked

3. Cuffs out of Roleplay. Do not wander bound up or wearing wrist and ankles restraints without being in an active scene. Being on a timer is not one of those reasons. No Attachments that do not fit in to the sims theme. Collars can be worn, leashes may not be attached to those collars unless in an active scene. Once again, this is a role play sim, it is for weaving intricate story lines. If that is not your goal, please search for “Free Sex”

4. No Griefers, For this area this includes intruding on anyone’s role plays. This means no trying to change menus while they are in use by someone. You may not intentionally disrupt an active role play by any means.

5. No underage APPEARING avatars. Let me make it clear, I do not care how many times you say your avatar is ADULT, if your appearance and/or AO give us the impression that your avatar is not in fact over 18, you will be banned. Debate this and you'll be banned just for being a twat waffle.

6. No Pose Ball Hoppers welcome. This is simple, we do not expect everyone to be super at Roleplay, everyone starts somewhere. However, being this is a roleplay sim, there will be roleplay involved. Though we prefer local roleplay, we cannot and do not try to enforce this. Some are not comfortable with an audience, some thrive on it.

7. Roleplay. This means to form words and coherent sentences in the form of emotes. This does not mean to machine gun fire 5 lines of 3 words in rapid succession. Rapid posts mess up other role-plays, so let's avoid this. Please try your best to keep a posting order and try to limit your post to ONE post. You are roleplaying with another person, that person needs to be able to react to your actions or words. They cannot do this if you keep adding to it in new posts. The sim is a roleplay sim so please keep things realistic. With that in mind much like no nudity unless there is a roleplay reason and you are currently engaged in a roleplay with someone. Running through the sim naked and yelling you got raped does not work. Also, unless you are a renter and in your own home, DO NOT wear items that are demo items, it breaks the realism and is not allowed.

8. OOC Chat: There is no OOC location on here. If you are talking in local, then you are to be IC. Please note, unless the person has a name tag on or has been introduced. You do not actually know who they are more than likely. So, using their name would be considered an OOC action. Also not everyone wants to engage in OOC chat, if they request not to be talked to OOC , respect that. Please if you do have to post in OOC denote it with the double bracket ((OOC Chat)) or ask to take it to Im’s keeping the OOC chatter off local.

9. We have a variety of role players and back stories. Prey, are normally played as unwilling, hence the 'prey' term. However, some might be in the mood to play willing. The bottom line to this rule is. If you keep trying to change someone else’s story to fit your concept, it most likely will not go well. Example: If a character is into playing unwilling or forced scenes. Trying to play them off as a hungry slut that is dying to be fucked, trying to get THEM to act that way. Is dumb, move on to someone that is looking for the same play style.

10. Human Avatars Only. Human means, not being super natural in anyway or any other Humanoid looking avatar.

**** In-character (IC) vs. Out-of-Character (OOC)
This is the most important concept to understand for role-play:
In-character (IC) describes the state of acting through the eyes, ears, and body of your fictional character. Basically, all physical actions and conversations would be based as if you are really the character, through the emoting and writing guidelines detailed below.

****Out-of-character (OOC) describes responses and interactions with others as your real-self, in out-of-story context. Basically, being OOC means you are not role-playing and are restricted to communicating in IMs and group chats. If you need to break character temporarily, you may do so by surrounding your text in brackets, for example: ((I need to use the restroom, I’ll brb))

**** Emote (/me)
To communicate and interact with other players in role-play, you should emote. In Second Life, this means to use the /me command as you portray yourself in the third person, followed by the physical actions, thoughts, feelings, and/or speech (in quotations) of your character. The following examples are responses you could type if you were playing this female character:
Example
/me sits upright as she notices the cop enter the lobby. “Oh hey, Officer. Is there anything I can help you with?”

**** Take Turns
Role-play is a turn-based activity. When someone posts, you should respond with a single post, then wait for your turn to respond again. If there are multiple players involved, take your turn in order. This allows everyone a fair chance to respond to a situation before it is your turn to post again.
Busy locations such as restaurants and bars may have a laxer posting order to allow workers to better serve and private conversations to ensue.

**** Playing Fair: Power gaming and Meta-gaming
As emphasized above, role-play is consensual. If your character is interacting physically with another, every action you post must always be an attempt, or what you are trying to do to the other player. This gives the other player flexibility and chances to either accept or deflect what you are trying to do to them. Combat and forced fantasy scenes are especially handled this way.

**** Power gaming
If one attacks without any social interaction, uses excessive force, or post the result of an attack on another character, then they are power gaming. Besides losing respect from other players, if reported, the offenders may find themselves ejected from groups and banned.
Good Example: /me snarls angrily, draws his pipe back, and then charges towards the hobo in hopes to strike him. “I’ll show you!” he screams.
Bad Example (Power gaming!): /me snarls angrily, draws his pipe back and jumps on the hobo. He then swings his pipe at his head and knocks him out cold.

**** Meta-gaming
Meta-gaming occurs when a player uses knowledge their character would not be privy to (obtained through OOC means) and uses it during in-character role-play to alter outcomes in a scene or storyline in their favor. A common example of this violation is to read an avatar name and use that name in-character to address someone. Unless your character has met this other character or had knowledge of them through role-play, there is no possible way your character would have known their name (the same goes for character background, history, and any other life detail that has not been role-played out).

**** Combat huds
Though combat huds and sims can be fun for some folks Virgin Falls doesn't allow use of them on  sim, in either town or beach. You will have to remove them or risk being ejected and banned.
